Sakamoto Agency Welcomes Canadian Country Artist Becca Hess to the Roster

For Immediate Release: June 25, 2018: Sakamoto Agency is excited to announce the exclusive representation of Canadian country artist Becca Hess, for all bookings and performances across Canada. Immersed in music for her entire life thus far, Becca is a powerhouse vocalist, a life-long musician, and a consummate professional in country music. Her sophomore album titled “Truth”, set to release in Fall 2018, was recorded under the production guidance of Tom and Carly McKillip (CCMA Producer of the Year awards/nominations) and bolstered by two years working with Nashville producer Byron Hill. The lead out single “Stranded” debuted on SiriusXM Country in April 2018, and is available at Canadian country radio and on all streaming platforms now.

While a newcomer to the ranks of Canadian country artists, Becca Hess is not a newcomer to country music, or the music business. She’s worked producing festivals and events herself for years, including currently as Executive Director of the multi-award nominated Rockin’ River Music Fest, based in Merritt, BC. “I have done countless shows over the years with the Sakamoto family so this felt like the natural next step,” says Becca Hess. “I am so thrilled to join forces with the legendary Sakamoto Agency and their incredible roster!”

“We are excited to welcome Becca into the Sakamoto Agency family,” says Sakamoto Agency’s Paul Biro. “Her unique voice and amazing stage presence is incredibly natural, and hints at her rich “family traditions” of country music. Becca has a sincerity and depth of character that comes out in every song and we are so pleased to be on this musical journey with her.”

Becca Hess has a few shows with Sakamoto Agency under her belt already, including the Cloverdale Rodeo, and the Boomtown Casino in Fort McMurray. Watch for more shows and new music at https://beccahess.com/.
